2026 Summer Programming Information
· DEC Camps – 4 locations in NYS - Summer Camps - NYSDEC
o 11-17 years old
o $350 per week
o Registration opens March 22nd, but you can create an account and fill out paperwork ahead of time.

· Long Point Camp – Salvation Army - Penn Yan, NY
o Long Point Camp | The Salvation Army Empire State Division
o Registration should be open by the end of February
o Open House on June 6 from 10 a.m. until 4:00 p.m
o July 27th – July 31st or August 3rd – August 7th
o 6-12 years old
o No cost to campers and families in Service Unit communities
o Transportation not provided
· Sheriff’s Camp – Penn Yan, NY

o August 2nd-August 8th
o 9-12 years old
o 6 slots for whole county – no cost
o Transportation provided

o Bereavement camp for children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person
o Free of charge
· Camp Getaway – FAMILY CAMP for family with child with mental, behavioral, or emotional health challenges
o Must refer family to Lynette at Hamilton County Mental Health
· Raquette Lake Camps - Raquette Lake Camps in New York, Boys & Girls Summer Camps

FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

· Old Forge Garden Club will sponsor one child for DEC camp
